Fidos Freeruns Terms and Conditions for Private Enclosed Dog Field Rental:
Welcome to our private enclosed dog field, where you can enjoy a safe and controlled environment for your beloved canine companions. By booking and using our dog field, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Booking and Usage:
1.1. The dog field is available for rent on an hourly basis. You must book in advance to secure your preferred time slot. All field usage is prebook only, you must not turn up without a booking.
1.2. Please ensure that you leave the premises promptly before your booked hour is up, allowing the next person to begin their session promptly. Failure to vacate the dog field within the designated hour may result in additional charges and impact future booking privileges.
1.3 You are required to adhere to your time slot at all times. If you arrive late for your slot, unfortunately, you will still need to vacate the field at your booked end time.
1.4 The field is for the exclusive use of the user who made the booking. Users are not allowed to sublet or transfer their booking to others.
1.5 The user must ensure that all dogs brought to the field are well-behaved, fully vaccinated, and do not pose any health risk to other dogs or visitors.
1.6 Users are responsible for their dogs and must supervise them at all times during their stay in the field.
- Security and Safety:
2.1. Upon arrival, all dogs must remain inside your vehicle until it is parked in the designated secure parking area. The gate must be securely closed before releasing your dogs from the vehicle.
2.2. A poo bin is provided for your convenience. You are responsible for cleaning up after your own dog and disposing of waste in the provided bin.
2.3 Please dispose of general waste in the litter bins provided.
2.4. The dog field is located on a working farm. Please drive slowly and be cautious of other farm animals and machinery while entering and leaving the premises. There are also farm dogs that are free to roam around the farm, this is why we ask that you do not let your dog out the car until you have parked in the secure parking area.
2.5. While using the dog field, you may occasionally see livestock in the vicinity. Rest assured that the dog field is separated by fencing to prevent any contact with the animals. However, if you have concerns, you can use our wooden fenced field to ensure your dog cannot see out.
2.6. The ground in the dog field may be uneven. Please be aware of this and take necessary precautions to avoid injuries to yourself and your dogs. We are not liable for any injuries that may occur during your visit.
2.7. We will not be held responsible for you not closing gates and securing the field for your own use.
2.8. Should your dog escape from the field, any damage caused to property or other animals is completely your responsibility and is payable by you.
- Secure Car Park and Waiting Area:
3.1. The secure car park on the premises is designed to accommodate only one car at a time. Renters are requested to plan their arrival and departure, accordingly, taking into consideration the limited parking space available.
3.2. If you arrive early for your scheduled dog field session and find the car park occupied, a designated waiting area is available, clearly signposted for your convenience. Please wait in this area until the previous session concludes, and the car park becomes available. Do not let your dog out of the car until you are in the car airlock.
- Maximum Number of Dogs:
4.1. For the safety and comfort of all dogs and owners, a maximum of six dogs are allowed in the dog field at any given time. Renters must adhere to this limit and refrain from bringing more than six dogs to the premises.
- Prohibition of Training Classes:
5.1. The dog field is intended for private use and recreation. Renters are strictly prohibited from conducting formal training classes or any commercial training activities on the premises.
5.2. The dog field may only be used for individual renter sessions and casual playtime with their dogs.
- Farm Safety:
6.1. The secure dog field is located on a working farm. Users must exercise caution and adhere to the following safety guidelines while on the premises:
6.2. Driving on site: All visitors driving on the farm do so at their own risk. Fido’s Freeruns accepts no liability for any damage to vehicles or property while on site, including damage caused by uneven terrain, debris, or other natural hazards. Drivers are responsible for navigating the site with care and adhering to any posted signage or instructions.
6.3. Speed Limit: All vehicles must drive slowly and at a speed not exceeding 5 mph while on the farm premises. This includes the access roads leading to the secure dog field.
6.4. Farm Machinery: Users must be aware that farm machinery may be in operation on the premises. Keep a safe distance from any active machinery and follow the instructions of farm staff or signs regarding machinery operation.
6.5. Other Farm Animals: The farm may be home to various animals, such as livestock or wildlife. Users and their dogs must not approach, disturb, or chase these animals. It is essential to keep dogs in the car until secured into the designated parking area. Dogs should not be let out the car until the gates are closed.
6.6. Farm Areas Restriction: Certain areas of the farm may be off-limits to the public. Users must not wonder around or venture anywhere other than the secure dog fields. Anyone venturing around the farm will be banned from using the site.
By providing the option of an alternative field with wooden fencing and transparently informing users about the presence of visible livestock, we aim to prioritize the well-being and comfort of all dogs using our secure dog field rental service.
- Dog Welfare:
7.1. Fresh drinking water for dogs is available in the dog field. Please make sure that you do not leave the tap on after use.
7.2. Dogs must not be allowed to dig holes in the field, as this may cause injuries to other dogs and people. Please monitor and prevent any digging behaviour.
7.3. We take no responsibility of what your dog ingests whilst using the site.
7.4. Management take no responsibility of wildlife such as birds, rabbits and squirrels etc onsite which could excite your dog.
7.5. We prioritize the well-being and positive training experiences of all dogs visiting the dog field. As such, the use of any adverse training equipment, including but not limited to shock collars, anti-bark collars, and prong collars, is strictly prohibited on the premises.
7.6. We encourage the use of positive reinforcement training methods to promote a healthy and happy relationship between dogs and their owners.
7.7. Renters are encouraged to bring toys, treats, and other positive training tools to engage and reward their dogs during their time in the dog field.
8.1. To ensure the safety of all dogs, no toys should be left in the dog field at any time, especially broken or hazardous ones. Please remove all toys brought into the field upon leaving the premises.
8.2. Renters are kindly asked to allocate time within their booked hour to inspect the field for any leftover toys or objects, as well as picking up any dog waste. This proactive approach will help maintain a clean and hazard-free environment for everyone.
- No Smoking Policy:
9.1. For the safety and comfort of all visitors, smoking is strictly prohibited within the dog fields and the surrounding areas.
- Noise Policy:
10.1. While enjoying the dog field, all users are required to be considerate of others and keep noise levels at a reasonable and respectful level.
10.2. Consistent and excessive noise, including but not limited to loud shouting, constant barking, or disruptive behaviour, will not be tolerated on the premises.
10.3. The management reserves the right to address any noise-related concerns promptly and at their discretion.
10.4. If a user’s behaviour or their dogs’ behaviour causes consistent noise disturbance to others, the management may request the offending party to lower the noise level or, if necessary, ask them to leave the premises without a refund.
10.5. Dog owners are encouraged to use positive reinforcement techniques to maintain control over their dogs’ vocalizations.
10.6. Users booking Freerun 2 between Monday and Friday (7:30am – 5:30pm) should be aware that a dog daycare operates on the same site during these hours. As a result, users may hear dogs barking or general noise from the daycare facility while using Freerun 2. The daycare dogs will not have access to Freerun 2 or its users, and all areas are securely separated. If you believe your dog may be sensitive or reactive to this type of noise, we recommend either booking Freerun 1or 2 outside of daycare hours—this includes early morning or evening slots, or visiting on weekends or bank holidays, when the daycare is closed.
- Responsibility and Use of Equipment:
11.1. Owners are solely responsible for the supervision and behaviour of their dogs and children at all times while using the dog field. Dogs and children must be under the owner’s direct control to prevent any accidents or incidents.
11.2. Any equipment present in the dog field, including agility items or other structures, is intended for recreational use only and is used at the renter’s own risk.
11.3. The management and owners of the dog field shall not be liable for any injuries or accidents that may occur while using the equipment, including injuries to the user, their dogs, or accompanying children.
11.4. Renters are required to inspect the equipment before use and report any damages or hazards to the management immediately.
11.5. If any equipment appears damaged, broken, or unsafe during the rental session, the renter must refrain from using it and inform the management promptly.
11.6. Renters are held financially responsible for any damages caused by themselves, their dogs, or accompanying children to the dog field, its facilities, or any equipment therein.
11.7. The management reserves the right to charge the renter for the repair, replacement, or restoration of any damaged items or property.
- Payment and Cancellation:
12.1. Payment for the dog field rental shall be taken at the time of booking to secure the reservation.
12.2. If a renter wishes to cancel their booking, they must provide a minimum of 24 hours’ notice prior to the scheduled rental time. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice or ‘no shows’ will not be eligible for a refund.
12.3. If you cancel your appointment with more than 24 hours’ notice and require a refund, please contact us directly to initiate the refund process. Refunds may take up to 10 business days to appear in your account, depending on your payment provider. Please ensure that you select the correct date and time before confirming your payment to avoid any inconvenience.
12.4. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, such as adverse weather conditions, preventing the renter from using the dog field, the management may, at its sole discretion, consider rescheduling the booking to an alternative available time slot. However, this is subject to availability and not guaranteed.
By proceeding with the booking and payment, renters confirm their understanding and agreement with the payment and cancellation policy outlined in these terms and conditions. The management reserves the right to refuse future bookings to those who do not comply with the stated cancellation policy.
- Liability and Bans:
13.1. We endeavour to maintain a safe environment; however, you acknowledge that using the dog field is at your own risk.
13.2. We are not responsible for any injuries, damages, or losses to you, your dogs, or your property while using the dog field.
13.3. Failure to comply with the rules and regulations outlined in these terms and conditions may result in a ban from future use of the premises.
- Restricted Breeds Policy:
14.1. In accordance with the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991, any dog listed under the Act, including the Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro, are not permitted to attend. This also applies to any crossbreed that fits the characteristics of these breeds.
14.2. Owners of XL Bully dogs must provide us with their certificate of exemption as required by law. Failure to present this documentation will result in denial of entry.
- Agreement to Terms and Conditions:
By proceeding with the booking and utilization of the private enclosed dog field, renters confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by all the terms and conditions outlined in this agreement. Renters acknowledge their responsibility for their dogs, children, and any accompanying individuals, as well as their commitment to maintaining a safe, respectful, and enjoyable environment for all users.
The management reserves the right to enforce these terms and conditions to ensure the well-being, safety, and satisfaction of all visitors to the dog field. Any breach of these terms and conditions may result in immediate eviction from the premises without refund and potential exclusion from future bookings.
Renters are encouraged to review this agreement thoroughly and familiarize themselves with its contents before proceeding with their booking. The management appreciates the cooperation of all users in upholding the integrity of the dog field and fostering a positive experience for all dogs and their owners.
We reserve the right to amend or update these terms and conditions at any time, and it is your responsibility to check for any changes before making a booking.
